Function: 
1. Used in pharmaceutical industry, biochemical tests and organic synthesis purposes as a buffer, used in the preparation of tissue culture medium, copper, gold and silver testing
2. It is used for the treatment of myasthenia gravis and progressive muscular atrophy, hyperacid in stomach, chronic enteritis, hyperprolinemia in children and other diseases. It is used to treat myasthenia gravis and progressive muscle atrophy. Treatment of excessive gastric sester diease, chronic enteritis;
3. Combined with aspirin, can reduce its stimulation to the stomach;
4. Treatment of hyperprolinemia in children; As a nitrogen source to generate non-essential amino acids, it was added into the mixed amino acid injection.
5. Glycine is mainly used as a nutritional additive in chicken feed.
6. It is mainly used for flavoring and has certain inhibitory effect on the reproduction of Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coli.
