Description:

Epimedium, also called horny goat weed, grows as an ornamental herb in Asia and the Mediterranean. In Asia, its leaves have been used for treating fatigue and boosting sex drive for a long history since 16th century. Function/Application

Icariin can increase cardiovascular and cerebrovascular blood flow, promote hematopoietic function, immune function and bone metabolism, and has the effects of tonifying kidney and strengthening Yang, anti-aging and anti-tumor:
1.endocrine effect: icariin can promote sexual function is due to the hypersecretion of semen, seminal vesicle full, stimulation of sensory nerves, indirect arousal caused by sexual desire.
2. Effects on immune system function: The number of T cells, the rate of lymphocyte transformation, antibodies, antigens and the phagocytic function of reticuloendothelial system in patients with kidney deficiency are low, which can be improved by kidney tonifying drugs such as Epimedium.
3. Anti-aging effect: icariin can affect the aging mechanism from different aspects. Such as the influence of cell passage, prolong the growth period, regulate the immune and secretion system, improve the body metabolism and organ function.
4. It can improve the cardiovascular system.
